Antonio Pineda is known as the major Mexican modernist. He was also one of the Mexican Masters who led the Arts Renaissance in Taxco, Mexico after the Mexican Revolution. This set of jewelry (necklace, bracelet and earrings) clearly illustrates Antonio's modernist, three-dimensional and sculptural designs.

Jewelry from Taxco is notable for its artistry, the high quality of the silver and workmanship and also for the high quality of technical design. The way this necklace is linked allows the pieces to nest closely together and at the same time, mold themselves as much as possible to the shape of the wearer's neckline or wrist.

Hallmarks on these pieces include the Antonio crown mark; eagle 17; SILVER; HECHO EN MEXICO; 970;925;YY525/ZZ635.
