Description
The structure the “roots”- of the floor lamp are made of mirror polished AISI 316 stainless steel. The floor lamp is composed of tubes of various diameters, the lampshade is made of pure linen. The lamp Mangrovia consists of 18 “roots” tubes. Every tube is bent, cut, welded and highly polished by hand.

Floor lamp dimension: diameter of 98 cm, total height 210 cm.
Source of illumination: Three halogen/LED/Edison filament light bulbs, dimmable, wiring for US and European market available.

The inspiration for this lamp came from the observation of the winded and beautiful roots of the Mangrove trees which grow along the Amazonas.
We wanted to recall the oversized roots of this tree and therefore created an oversized lamp. The stainless steel is shaped in order to achieve the organic form of the roots.

Each Floor Lamp is hand signed and numbered by the artists (Engraved). 100% handmade in Italy, comes with a “Certificate of Authenticity”.
The artworks by Barberini & Gunnell are regularly shown at international art fairs, such as PAD London, PAD Genève, PAD Monaco, Salon Art + Design New York, ArtMiami.
