In the spirit of the American Centennial celebration, a meticulously detailed and inlaid, outstanding bench-made specimen. The four crotch mahogany cabinet doors are symmetrically matched; with working key locks. Original shellac finish and rare ovoid brasses are exceptionally fine. Middle-Atlantic, specifically Baltimore inspiration and
likely origin.

Five decades of antiques collecting experience in a succession of Historic Register homes in Virginia, New York, and Connecticut; and a 1901 beaux arts building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment. -
