This handsome Mid-Century Modern cocktail table was engineered and crafted in America, circa 1970. It boasts the strong bold lines and Industrial materials that collectors of the period adore. With its flanked cylindrical legs, smoked glass top, and domed hubs (in a contrasting metallic tone) over the connecting rivets, this piece represents a particularly interesting example of American design from this era. This table would be a wonderful addition to virtually any interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to ultra contemporary. It would work particularly well in any room that mixed metallic hues (of silver and gold tones, for example) or for a space that could use a bold and brilliant accent piece. With its streamline design and cylindrical forms, this piece very much harkens back to Art Deco design and would therefore be a good find for collectors of this period as well. Very good vintage condition.
