Description
Pair of cherry wood carved solid wood benches attributed to Tomaso Buzzi and Gio Ponti. The benches are from the late 30's. The seat is upholstered in satin fabric with beige and white bands. Note that one of the two seats has been worn and damaged.
A special feature of the pair is its horn-shaped feet. Its innate elegance gives every room great importance and refinement. The armchairs come from a private Milanese house. Years 30/40. The pair of benches is ideal as a bedside table in the bedroom or to furnish an elegant living room in classic style. the upholstery is original of the period. One of the two benches its covering is seriously damaged, On request it can be replaced at a fee. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. -
