Based in Boulder, Colorado, designer-maker Alexander Giray began building hand crafted furniture in 2016 following his desire to channel his creativity through craftsmanship. Stepping back from an extensive career as a professional rock climbing guide and utilizing entirely self-taught skills, he created Alexander Giray Designs in 2017. The goal being to explore the relationship between us and objects that have the ability to captivate our senses.

Drawing inspiration from his architectural schooling and extensive time spent in the great outdoors, these influences are apparent in each piece. From the intricate design details to the boldness and natural beauty of wood he uses, each design is material-forward and rich with detail.
