Description
Bilia table lamp is a truly Iconic design, nothing more than a sphere, set in an apparently impossible way on top of a cone shaped base, a typical Gio Ponti magic trick, designed in 1932 for Fontana Arte this example is from the 1970. White enamelled metal base with a blown satin glass ball with the stylish discretion of non reflective materials.
The two elementary geometric forms counterbalance creating an original perfectly proportioned object of unique elegance, beauty and functionality. -
