Victorian period wood artist's easel
English, c.1900
Height 212cm, width 90cm, depth 78cm
This beautiful artist’s easel was created in England in c.1900, in the early 20th Century. The easel is of tripod form, being set on three supports. Its feet and top are scrolled. The easel features a horizontal member, upon which the artist’s canvas can be placed. The item is decorated with finely-carved stylised scrolled acanthus leaves, palmettes and rosettes. -
