Impressive hand painted illuminating glass globe on a wood base , encircled with bronze band of astrological symbols. By hand turning the flèche, different parts of the world will show day or night. 58" H x 28" Diameter around bronze band. Some areas of paint loss on globe but overall very fine condition. Signed Terra Lux Globe, Designed and painted by A.S. Alexander, New Rochelle, NY 1937-1938. Accompanied by a copy of
Asia Magazine with a similar globe. This item will require professional crating and shipping. We are willing to deliver to your choice of professional packer/shipper in the NYC area. This item is currently in our upstate location near Hudson, NY. -
