    18TH CENTURY POLYCHROME LIDDED FAIENCE 'SOUPIÈRE' OR SOUP TUREEN
    A shaped oblong soup tureen in faience with polychrome decoration of flowers and characters after the commedia dell'arte,
    (musicians, birds and fantastical creatures) around the outside and
    a garland of flowers on the inside base.
    Mask handles in the form of lions.
    Moustiers, France, 18th century.
