This traditional Khotan rug has a shaded blue field scattered with floral sprays and hooked lozenges together with floral vases and other auspicious motifs around a column of three beige roundels containing an outer band of rosettes and stellar flowerheads around a central hooked panel, the stepped angular spandrels in each corner, in a shaded blue key-pattern border between a beige angular floral vine and an cloud-motif stripes, plain outer beige stripe.
