Description
The Townsend2 Coffee Table is a differently proportioned version of my original Townsend table. It is pictured in all solid walnut with the same fluid, tapering legs and precise joinery as its predecessor, but with greater depth. The base is all hand sculpted and joined with traditional mortise and tenon construction. The oval top has a steeply beveled edge to lighten the appearance of its thickness. The table is made of beautiful, matched, unsteamed walnut and finished with an oil/wax, though it can be reproduced in a variety of woods and finishes. Please contact me to discuss options.
