Large Chinese Leather Trunk
-
Description
This is an unusual large Chinese tooled leather trunk that dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. The front face of the trunk is detailed in tooled traditional symbols of Chinese good fortune--deer, flowering trees, butterflies, cranes, etc. The large size of the trunk enables it to be the perfect coffee table. The trunk is in very good condition for its age and use--the red coloration makes it an eye-catcher.
