Description
This is a solid bronze casting with a natural bronze patina finish on a honed 4" solid black granite base. It is inspired by biology diagrams—telomeres, DNA and my love of geometry and architecture. This was cast directly with a Voxeljet PMMA plastic—no mold required.
While the surface is smooth and geometrically perfect there are 'imperfections' or discolorations—additional photos upon request. I have stopped obsessing about perfect sculptures and enjoy the human aspect of our creations; they lend character.
