1959 Bent Karlby 'Mosaik' adjustable brass & lacquered metal table lamp for Lyfa. A wonderfully patinated table lamp executed in two shades of green lacquered metal with adjustable brass arms that raise and lower with a knob to set position. This rare and elegant Danish modern design with its sculptural form and whimsical touches are characteristic of the finest work of Bent Karlby.

Bent Karlby was one of the most innovative Danish modern lighting designers of the midcentury era. His refined designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.

Modified for US electrical. Two new e26 medium base sockets each accommodate a 60 watt equivalent Edison bulb (lower with incandescent). Patina, bends, losses, dents, chips, and scuffs as largely shown in the images and noted only for accuracy.

Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
