Date or Period: Final Production Year of 1961
The Moonsong Collection, a nod to the Tiki/ Polynesian/ Brasilia craze of the late 50's to 60's. An oven to table line of serving ware of limited production and rare to find. This is a set of two bowls in a gorgeous matte blue glaze with handles mimicking the Shinto style gates and etched with fine radiating lines. See images for the embossed markings with "Calif 1111-A U.S.A." on the small bowl and "Bauer Calif U.S.A. 1111" on the larger.
