A Rare and Exceptional Example of a Pair of Century Chinese ( Canton ) Hardwood Chairs mirrowing the English Queen Anne Period counterpart, with the added expression of the very individual stylised intricate carving which in turn resembles the gilt gesso reliief seen on English Tables Mirrors and Chairs. Of superb proportions and excellent original natural patination. Circa 1720.
