A pair of Carl-Johan Boman (Finnish 1883-1969) club chairs, Circa 1940s
Produced by Oy N. Boman AB, Turku, Finland. With generous curved backrests rand seats raised on stained beech legs. New off white wool bouclé upholstery
Boman was an educated designer you worked first for the established company Boman Furniture Factory. The factory was founded by his father around the end of the 19th Century and It produced high quality furniture in a more traditional style. After Carl-Johan joined the company he successfully reinvented the product line with a more modern direction. -
