This fine pedestal stands are charming examples of French decorative art. The pedestals feature green-ground porcelain columns painted with portraits of Napoleon and Josephine, gilt bronze capitals and bases, and marble tops and plinths. The marble plinths are mounted with gilt bronze foliate rosettes and are raised on gilt bronze feet.
