French Pair of Louis Philippe Style Bedside Cabinets

This vintage pair of solid oak bedside cabinets, made in the Louis Philippe style, have a fantastic patina with nice storage space. The smooth tops offer a nice view of the bright wood. They feature a hidden drawer in the shaped apron and cabinet facades with layers of thumbnail carving. The interior houses a single adjustable shelf, accessible only when the knob is turned to unlatch it. The whole is supported by bracket feet that raise the pieces 2-½” from the ground.
