Woven in the early 20th century, circa 1900, this antique rug immediately draws the attention with its stunning pattern and vibrant colors. The main field features an all over design of palmette, flowering vine and serrated leaf trellis, framed by a rosette and angular vinery border. The palette accompanying this composition contains mostly jewel tones such as red and blue. However, a watchful eye can spot a bit of magenta, light gray and chocolate brown as well.
