Description
A set of six Enrique Garcel dining chairs, (2 arm and 4 side) custom made in a studio in Columbia, South America in the 1970s. .
The Italianate styled chairs are nicely scaled for comfortable sitting and very distinctive with their charcoal gray dyed parchment trim outlining the seat and back in stark contrast to the chairs's overall pale cream colored parchment.
The resin coating is resilient and intact providing a uniform finished surface that protects the parchment clad frame from every day use and is easy to care for.
The chairs are newly upholstered in Kravet Couture Plain Luxury Chenille Upholstery Flattering/Cement -
38% Viscose 37% Cotton 21% Linen 4% Poly over fresh foam.
Overall the chairs are in good vintage condition with a couple of minor restorations. -
