Description
Finest quality with a ceiling cap of cast bronze original to the piece with four square link gilt bronze chains supporting a circular bowl form twelve light fixture with a figure of a standing Diana. The underside with finely cast satyr heads and acanthus with central drop. Installed at “Waldingfield” in 1929 and recently removed from the house where it had hung in the library for almost 100 years. Built for Julia Appleton and Charles Bird. This has never been electrified.
