An antique Turkish Flat-weave Kilim. This two piece Anatolian slit tapestry weave flatwoven rug has a plain red field set within a royal blue fringed inner stripe and a main orange frame with a doubled stepped lozenge pattern. A partial field abrash section of darker red adds to the rustic charm and directness. Turkish kilims are often woven in two sections because of the narrow village looms.
