French Directoire Style Painted Desk by John Widdicomb

Description
A creme peinte bureau plat in the style of French Directoire, circa 1960s, the wood top in natural finish over a frieze fitted with three drawers and decorated with parcel-gilt banding, supported on square-tapering fluted legs ending in castors.
Stamped John Widdicomb inside the drawer. -
