Description
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (b. Germany 1886, d. USA 1969). The original "MR" chair was designed in 1927 as part of his contribution to the Weissenhof exhibit in Stuttgart, Germany - following the new Bauhaus era use of chrome plated tubular steel for the frame. Light white-to-beige leather ribbed along the entire length and strapped underneath with an adjustable back. Manufactured in the 1970s by Knoll International.
