Jeannie Motherwell

Jeannie Motherwell, a New York City native, pursued her passion for painting at Bard College and the Art Students League in New York. After college, she dedicated herself to arts education, contributing her skills at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT. She later moved to Cambridge, MA, where she played a significant role in the Arts Administration graduate program at Boston University until her retirement in 2015.
Throughout her career, Jeannie has actively participated in various arts organizations. She served on the Cambridge Arts Council Public Art Commission and the Advisory Board for Joy Street Artists Open Studios in Somerville, MA. Additionally, she was part of the Board of Directors for Provincetown Arts Magazine and is currently on the advisory board for the Provincetown Public Art Foundation.
Her artwork is represented in both public and private collections across the United States and internationally. Jeannie works from her studio at Miller Street Artist Studios in Somerville, MA, and is represented by M Fine Arts Galerie in Boston and The Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown.
