Ikea Produced Storvik Lounge Chair by Carl Öjerstam - 2000's
-
Description
Scandinavian modern rattan lounge chair designed by Carl Öjerstam for Ikea. This design was made from a lightweight bamboo frame. The chair had limited production with Ikea Sweden from 2001-to 2005 and won the Red Dot Award in 2002. The lounge chair offers great comfort and support due to the formed rattan and the presence of the headrest. This elegantly shaped chair is surprisingly comfortable, making it suitable for any Scandinavian modern or mid-century modern-inspired home. A true eye-catcher that can definitely also work in an outdoor environment such as a balcony or a covered terrace.
