Is there a piece missing to bring together your living room and you are a lover of minimalist design style? This Italian vintage double-tier center table will bring light into your space and artistic functionality. This signed piece of organic design by Romeo Rega is a modern Work of Art, with a top glass surface. The lower shelf is uniquely made of 4 chromed panels, inserted on its wood base, artistically designed with a stand-out contrasting mat and gloss decor in Escher style. The placement of the geometric pattern creates a 3-dimensional illusion. The sophisticated cut shape of the legs is typical of Romeo Rega's work with its minimalist light airy feel to allow light through.
Romeo Rega was a very popular mid-20th-century Italian Roman designer, who is known for using geometric shapes and clean lines in his designs, characterized by extensive use of glass or perspex, and complementing metals, chrome, and brass, often mixed together. His notoriety began in the late 50s when he produced for Cinecittà the chariots of the American colossal film Ben-Hur. He designed and produced many products, including lighting projects, with a similar style to Willy Rizzo and Gabriella Crespi.
