-
Description
A stately Louis XVI style 19th century French mahogany demilune enfilade, circa 1870. Shaped, original white marble top with ogee edge in good antique condition. The apron houses four drawers, each with a laurel and ribbon escutcheon and working key. Reeded door fronts flanked by open shelves with a pierced brass gallery on each. A single removable shelf behind the locking door provides plenty of storage space. Four keys are included. Raised on turned legs, each fit with a brass sabot for protection. Cleaned and polished with French wax paste, each drawer easily opened. Decades of use have given this enfilade a warm patina. Also currently on our showroom floor is a matching Desserte that would create a beautifully consistent look throughout your space. You can find by searching for its SKU number 2193-2; enfilade and desserete sold separately. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at the whole!
