Description
Pair of Rococo style 19th century gilt bronze candlesticks with cherubs mounted on decorative circular plinths with acanthus leaf supports.
One of the cherubs holding a sickle and other holding a cup, both supporting a basket of grapes and fruit on their heads which form the bobeche of the candlesticks.
France, mid 19th century.
Electrified with faux french candles, the candlesticks have not been drilled.
Shown with 14" gathered linen shades.
