Reisha Perlmutter

Reisha Perlmutter was born in Naples, Florida in 1990. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA from the New York Academy of Art, and has attended residencies in Italy and France concentrating on classical painting and figuration.
Her work is best known for representational imagery of women and water, where she explores the unencumbered relationship between body and nature, as well as expanding conventional beauty norms.
She has exhibited in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, Fort Worth and in Europe, museum exhibitions, and auction houses including Christies and Sothebys New York.
