Description
Alfred Tennyson, D.C.L., Poet-Laureate, "Enoch Arden, Etc.", First Edition, London: Edward Moxon & Co., Dover Street, 1864, in a binding of darkened crimson full Morocco leather.
It has marbled endpapers and a gilt-lettered and dated hubbed spine. The binding is signed "Magnier Freres Rel." The top edges are gilt, and there is gilt tooling along the borders of the endpapers. The volume consists of other poems as well, including "Tithonus"'. This is a tight and beautifully bound first edition book. -
