    Maple, white pine, copper tacks, original yellow wash,
    5 ½ x 13 ½ x 9 ⅜ inches

    Descended in the family of Margaret Gill, who resided with the Shakers at Mount Lebanon as a child and took the box when she left the community; Recently acquired by us as part of a fine collection of Shaker boxes.
