Description
Some notes about the author Max Ingrand: a famous French master glass worker and decorator, he was artistic director of FontanaArte for one decade, starting from 1954. During that time, he came up with true design classics. Having studied at the school of Fine Arts in Paris, he specialised in the decorative Arts, under the guidance of major artists such as Jacques Grüber and Charles Lemaresquier. He produced a great number of stained glass panels for religious buildings, hotels and public places, and was awarded the French Legion of Honour.
Here we have chandelier model number 1748, with structure in brass and an irregular beveled crystal diffuser, transparent and sandblasted centrally, with cracked glass inclusions.
Published in:
Domus n.334, september 1957, p. 26;
Good condition, fully original, fully working.
We recommend a wooden crate for safety in the trasport. -
