Description
A model 401 or 'cocoon' pendant lamp by Finnish designer Antti Nurmesniemi. It is made of partially overlapping strips of white acrylic and with a brass element underneath. The height of the lamp itself is 51 cm and the total drop as pictured is 114 cm.

The model was designed in 1957 for Vuokko Oy, but this lamp was produced by Artek in the 1980s. Labeled by Nurmesniemi.
