Description
Superb quality Gillows Lancaster Mahogany Two Flap Pembroke Table with the added interest having a sectioned centre top drawer revealing a finely positioned interior of various writing related compartmennts .
Typical of the high standard expected of a piece of Gillows furniture , this piece is made from specially selected Mahogany timbers bought by Gillow at the Liverpool docks .
Gillow had special priority over many of his contemporaries due to the quantity he was purchasing - therefore having first choice of the best timbers .
Excellent state of repair with quality metal lock and the original wooden knob handles .
