Italian Art Deco Sideboard with Bar Cabinet Attributed to Osvaldo Borsani, 1940s
-
Description
Osvaldo Borsani designed this beautiful Italian sideboard in the 1940s. With its unique design and excellent manufacturing quality, the sideboard stands out from the crowd.
The glass handles on the three central doors are magnificent. The slight convexity of the doors with protruding ends is a unique feature. Maple briar on the three central doors contrasts nicely with the rest of the cabinet's color scheme.
This sideboard looks elegant and slender because of the refined design of its lower supports. Borsani's works are characterized by a decorative frieze in the lower part. The bar cabinet in the center has a light that illuminates when the door is opened, making sure that nothing is left to chance. There is a goldsmith's touch on the bottle holder. Due to recent restoration, the sideboard is in very good condition. - More Information
