This pair of brass candlesticks are a wonderful find! Crafted in the distinctive style of Claude Galle during the 1st empire period in France, circa 1810. Three female busts dressed in a Hellenistic style beautifully adorn the stem of the flambeaux above paw feet and a palm frond ornamented base.
