Description
Lalique Tanzania black vase. Limited Edition. Mouth-blown glass decorated with hand painted color enameling. The sophistication of the hand-finishing renders the object as precious as a jewel. The effects of the Fine satin-finishing upon the exotic foliage that crowns the Tanzania in black crystal are such that the leaves seem to overreach the central frieze of the vase, where crystal zebras gallop about. Delicate white enameling highlights each zebra, bringing them to life with a vibrant power of movement that surprises and delights the viewer.
Designed and made by Marie-Claude Lalique in 1991.
Signature: Lalique France
Number: 1774. -
