    Very well executed mixed media post modern original artwork by the well known Russian/American artist, Nahum Tschacbasov. The artwork is composed of watercolor, gouache, pen, ink on archival paper. Signed lower right and dated 1977. Condition is excellent. Tamed in a contemporary gold frame with white mat in fine condition. Overall framed measurements are 19 by 16 inches.

    Born in 1899 Tschacbasov’s prolific 60-year career includes an incredibly varied oeuvre and extensive exhibition history. His work is held in many prestigious public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Jewish Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Walker Art Center, and the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University.
