A Vienna style porcelain burgundy-ground tray, 'triumph Der Venus' late 19th century, blue beehive mark, signed bergère Pinh. The oblong octagonal tray painted with Venus rising from the sea, assisted by three attendants, cupid hovering above them, the scene edged in gilt scrolls and trellis and diaper, the rim with a band of fruiting vine
Measures: 14¾ in. (37.4 cm.) long, excluding the giltwood frame
