Description
The 1970s Italian travertine dining table is a must for the interior of every mid-century design enthusiast. A lovely composition of this very distinct stone shows up close that it displays a color palette ranging from white to more brownish tones. This results in a warm pastel-like color that creates a pleasant feeling of softness. A table like this is also very easy to combine with a wide range of colors, fabrics, and other materials. With a certain pleasantness to the eyes, it will certainly claim its presence in the room and that starts with the wide foot providing for a solid appearance with seamless sharp corners and edges. The direction of the drawing on the base is vertical, which makes the table look higher from an optical point of view. The leaf is actually the opposite. Its corners and edges are nicely rounded and there is a minuscule milling all around in the middle. The beautiful thickness of the blade provides balance when combined with the base and the drawing in the travertine runs parallel to the rectangular shape of the top. In terms of condition, we can say that this item is in very good condition with only some slight color differences on the edges of the sheet.
