Description
A pair of mid century Italian brass clamshell lamps by Angelo Brotto. Brass outer shells are joined to create the clam revealing the lightbulb as the inner "pearl." Matte outer surface finish and bright gloss finished interiors. Slight variations to the size opening of each lamp.
Vintage condition. Signs of wear as expected with age and use. Moderate patina throughout. Darkening to areas of brass and surface abrasions throughout. One lamp has had an inner solder repair to joint that is not visible and noted only for accuracy. Professionally rewired for US electrical. Not UL listed. -
