Description
Well proportioned and versatile English Oak Dropleaf / Gateleg Table of oval form. Suited for various functions, it can be used as small wall-console, narrow end table or, with both leaves open, as end or center table. The top is supported by straight, flat uprights on either side, ending in shoe feet and connected at the bottom by a conforming wide, flat stretcher. Two turned gatelegs swing out to support the dropleaves. Beautiful, well preserved condition and patina.
