Didier Robert de Vaugondy (1723–1786) was a prominent French cartographer and geographer of the 18th century. He was born in Paris, France, and came from a family of mapmakers. Didier Robert de Vaugondy was the son of Gilles Robert de Vaugondy, who was also a renowned cartographer.
 
Didier Robert de Vaugondy collaborated with his father and eventually took over the family mapmaking business.
