This spectacular desk lamp is crafted from an array of rare and luxurious materials.
Rhodonite, the stone symbolising compassion, is carved to form the lampshade and base. The tones of black, maroon, and white paired with naturally occurring patterns of the stone create an eye-catching design.
The rock crystal central stem of the lamp leads the eye upwards towards the elegantly designed lampshade. Silver gilt detailing shines through the rock crystal, bringing together all the individual features of the design. The semi-spherical lamp shade is topped with silver gilt detailing pierced with a floral motif and framed in a silver gilt border.
Each rhodonite circle of the stepped round base is framed in a silver gilt border, further accentuating the natural beauty of the stone.
The piece is marked ‘Asprey’ to the front of the base, and the reverse is marked ‘925’ for sterling silver alongside other indistinct marks.
