Available immediately, these Mid-Century Modern Armchairs in Hardwood & Faux Leather, are stunning!

The armchair structure has straight lines and is made entirely of Caviuna wood, a favorite one for designers like Giuseppe Scapinelli and Rino Levi. The seat and backrest are made of beige faux leather. The backrest swivels adjusting to the back making the armchair super comfortable. Also, the arms are wider than the rest of the structure giving an extra touch of design to the piece.

The Caviuna has been refinished and displays colorful veins and besides the marks of age, the armchairs are in excellent condition. The faux leather is in great condition also. Both, comfortable and decorative this set would look incredible in any Mid-Century Modern, Boho chic or Modern Farmhouse environment.

This set perfectly represents the Brazilian Modernist movement and the architects hired to design and furnish the new capital Brasilia in 1960. These pieces belonged to INFRAERO, the government organization responsible for airports in Brazil. The heritage plaque is located on the back of each chair.
