A set of six "Julia" displaying porcelain plates with surrealism designs by Piero Fornasetti, an iconic series from 'Temi e variazioni' (“Themes and Variations”). These plates were made for displaying on the wall as well as daily use and there are predrilled holes on the back for easy hanging. This collection was inspired by the renowned soprano vocalist, Lina Cavalieri, who was invented and depicted as the lady 'Julia.' in various composition. Marked on the bottom of each plate with Fornasetti Milano Temi e variazioni Made in Italy and the plates ('Motiv') number 64, 77, 81, 96, 288, and 289.
