This Chanel Quilted Cutout Necklace is an outgoing and bold example of the Brand's resonance and aura as a beloved name in Luxury Design. Crafted in France during the 1980s, this vintage example is well weighted and wearable. Featuring a Quilted Motif for the body of the necklace, the CHANEL logo is described in cutout negative space and is clearly legible. Utilizing a double chain with spring loop enclosure and elegant oval hanging label marked "Chanel, Made in France" along with the Iconic double C. The piece plays with material associations and textural contradictions, a solid and unchanging material depicting a soft and forgiving cushioned texture. The chain is attached to the reverse using four oblong loop form enclosures hidden during wear. The reverse has a brilliantly achieved striated stippled texturing to the metal surface. This texture matches the directionality of the cutout text and hugs along each geometric surface, well considered and crafted from every angle. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
